Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. If you've read here long, you probably know how infant loss has rocked our world and turned it upside down.

Since Carter's death, we have been aware of so many more losses. Even a handful in our small community over the last year. Maybe it's because the baby loss community tends to be kind of small or because we are just more aware of it. Either way, it happens. It can happen to anyone, whether it's your first baby or your 10th. Whether you are old or young. Whether you are a "good" person or not.

Over the month I will try to highlight organizations and resources that provide support to pregnancy/infant loss parents, give ideas of how you can help someone going through it, and maybe even talk a few of my friends into sharing.
