I lost a few months somewhere, time please slow down! Ezra is now a big, bad 20 month old and well on his way to being TWO. I can't believe it.
At his 18 month check up he weighed 23 lbs 10.5 oz and was 33 inches tall. He is currently in 18-24 month clothes.
He's still practicing his "strong, silent type" but is gaining a few new words. He loves animals and knows what most of them say although he gets a little confused about the horse and yells "baaa" frequently. He also says "Mama", "wa wa" (water), "up", his famous "yeah" and signs "please" and "all done".
He is just thrilled with big brother using the toilet and I can't tell you how many times a day I have to tell him to get his head out of the toilet (boys, sigh). He is a little daredevil and stands up on his rocking horse, leaps off the couch and runs down the slide.
He also has this sweet little side and he gives the best hugs and snuggles to make up for when he is a little, ahem, ornery. He hates being cut off of food, sent out of the kitchen, and having his diaper changed. Sweet boy also has a little bit of a flair for the dramatic... picture hanging his head into his hands and wailing when he is told "no". We just love this little guy to pieces and are so thankful for what a joy he is in our lives.

Ezra - 9 Months
Ok seriously, make.it.stop.
Ezra is 9 months old!! Has it really been 9 months since he joined our little family!?
He is:
Wearing 9/12 month clothes
Size 3 diapers (at night), still going strong with the cloth diapers at home
Getting into everything
Pulling up to stand and I've caught him standing without holding on a few times
The proud owner of two bottom teeth and working on a top tooth
Ezra loves to play with Cohen, but doesn't like to be forced into something he doesn't want to do (wrestling, being "pick 'em'd" by Cohen). He crawls all over and loves to play on Cohen's big boy bed and look out the window. We have taken him outside a few times since the weather's been nice and he has loved tromping around behind big brother.
He has recently taking to shrieking and screaming at the top of his lungs. He also has learned to put his arms up when he wants up or to get out of his seat.
He eats (and eats and eats) everything. The only thing we've found that aren't his favorite are scrambled eggs, otherwise it's down the hatch! Except for grass (see picture below)
He still loves to snuggle and is also still nursing. He takes two naps a day, one usually short morning nap and an afternoon nap. Ezra and Cohen are sharing a room (except for naps) and they both sleep great at night for the most part.

3 Months
My little pudge is 3 months old, I can't believe it!! It has been such a different experience in so many ways, having a full term, chubby baby.
I feel like we just stop and breathe this time around. I don't have to check on oxygen or feeding tubes, although I do still check on him all the time. Ezra is still sleeping in our room because he is still getting up a few times during the night (yawn). I love our mornings together. He gets up about 6 am to nurse and then snuggles in bed with me. The early morning light comes through the curtains and I just get to stare at him. His chubby cheeks and his little hands. I love to watch him sleep.
And he truly is a pleasant baby. Now that we've gotten his tummy troubles worked out, he rarely screams and is a pretty easy going fellow with plenty of smiles. I often find him rolled over in his bed from his tummy to his back, although he's never actually done it so we can witness it. He eats every 4 hours and is now taking good naps. We had a rough go in his first month or two. Poor fellow was so miserable that he would just scream all the time and not nap. Now that I've been off of dairy, he is so.much.better.
He weighed in at 14 lbs at his doctor's appointment. He just got his 2 month shots (we were a little late on his appointment) and slept for 2 days straight. The big boy is wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 6 month pajamas.
He is my little ray of sunshine who hates his carseat and drools a lot. He loves to "talk" and is such a smiley boy. He likes to try to sit up when we hold him. When he plays on the floor he bats at his toys and is fascinated by the same little hanging bug toy that Cohen was when he was a baby.
We are just loving having a "normal" baby experience!
