At 9 months:
* You are wearing 9-12 month clothes
* You weigh 15 lbs 4 oz
* Eat just about anything we put in front of you: peaches, green beans, peas, rice cereal, applesauce, mum mums, bananas. If it goes on a spoon, you will eat it. The only thing we've found that you don't like is avocado.
* Still mostly sleep through the night, although we have had to go back to swaddling you
* Really, really want to crawl. As of yesterday you started scooting backwards a little bit
* Are a little less serious, and a little more smiley
* You watch our faces so closely when we talk to you and you move your little mouth like you want to say something back but it won't come out
* You get cuter every day!

Scooting backwards?!? He is doing so great. Go Cohen! We still can't even get Veronica to crawl. Oh, and she really doesn't like advocados either. So I try to sneak some in - between bites of foods that she really likes. I think sometimes she gets made at me though. And someday soon she will probably figure it out!

Beautiful photo collage of the beautiful boy! One family I babysat a few years ago, I would smash up the avacado and stir it into plain yogurt every day. It was part of their breakfast. Maybe Cohen wouldn't know and he could still get it into him. Hehe!

Marcie - To be fair, I'm not sure that he actually knows he's scooting himself backwards. He is definitely not doing any crawling yet and doesn't seem to be anywhere near sitting at all....which I hear Veronica is starting to do!! So exciting :)
ReplyDeleteKathy - I like your idea! I am going to try and sneak the avocado in on him. His Dr said he isn't gaining weight like he was so he must need some more (good) fat!

and downloaded the template and then opened it in Adobe and put the pictures in (there are instructions on the templates). If you have some other kind of photo program just google "storyboard template download" and you should find what you need!
p.s. I met you on New Year's Eve at NY Pizza and didn't even realize it until after!
how great is that. He is a real answer to a lot of prayers. Please keep us posted on his progress.
